Tom Moorcroft, DODr Tom Moorcroft, DO
Tom did his undergraduate studies at the University of Vermont before attending the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNECOM). While at UNECOM, Tom was selected to complete a one year fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. Tom completed his residency training in Family Medicine at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, CT, where he is currently on the medical staff. Tom deeply believes that the true source of radiant health is within each of us. Dr. Tom has been fortunate to have many amazing mentors, including Mark Rosen, DO, Eric Dolgin, DO, Michael Burruano, DO, Andrew Goldman, DO. Richard Horowitz, MD, and Charles Ray Jones, MD.

Tom’s medical philosophy is deeply influenced by his personal health practices. He enjoys practicing Ashtanga Yoga, Gracie Jiu Jitsu, cooking and spending time with his wife, Jill and their myriad of animal companions. Tom volunteers as a Canine Search Specialist for Connecticut Task Force 1, CT’s Urban Search and Rescue Team . Tom & Jill are volunteers for Australian Shepherd & Belgian Malinois rescue and often are foster parents for dogs without homes.

Tom believes life is meant to be lived in this moment. Our natural state of being is full awareness of the depths of life. Full awareness of this moment allows us to discover the joy of living and re-invigorate our own natural healing abilities. Tom draws inspiration from the works of Eckhart Tolle, Byron Katie and others.
