Jill Moorcroft, D.O.

Jill received a B.S. in biology from Fairfield University. She received her medical degree, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.), from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNECOM) in Biddeford, Maine.

While a student at UNECOM, she was selected to complete a fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. After, graduating from UNECOM and the fellowship, Jill received her residency training in Family Medicine at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, CT.

Jill also completed a two and a half year Fellowship in Integrative Medicine through Middlesex Hospital in affiliation with the University of Arizona College of Medicine’s Program in Integrative Medicine. This Fellowship was started by the guru of Integrative Medicine, Dr. Andrew Weil, MD. In addition to applying an integrative approach to people of all ages during her Fellowship, she received extensive experience applying the integrative approach to cancer survivors as well as oncology patients undergoing conventional treatment.

Dr. Moorcroft also completed a 2-year course in homeopathy through the New England School of Homeopathy (NESH) and continues with advanced studies through NESH. In 2012, Dr. Jill became Board Certified and fully licensed to practice Homeopathy in the State of Connecticut. She is now 1 of only 7 active physicians in the State of Connecticut to be Board Certified and Licensed to practice Homeopathy.

All of her medical interests, both conventional and alternative, have a common thread in that their foundation lies within the body’s self-healing ability and its tendency toward health. Her goal in caring for patients is to support this amazing capacity through whatever avenues possible including Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, nutrition, supplements, mind-body approaches, etc.

Jill enjoys maintaining her health by the same approaches she recommends and uses in practice with her patients. She likes to spend her free time skiing, walking her dogs, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
